I am Shani (Shah-knee). I split my time between Surf City, NC and Charlotte, NC. My work is a reflection of my appreciation of lively color, with a constant exploration of the contrast between dark and light - both literally and philosophically (life and death, good and evil, love and loss). Much of my work follows a common theme: triumph always lies on the other side of the darkness.
